Sharon Strang, 63, Fargo, passed away at Meritcare South University on Sunday, February 1, 2004. Sharon Siert was born January 12, 1941, in Sioux Falls, SD, to Harold and Anne Siert. She graduated from high school in Chinook, MT. She married Duane Strang in Ramona, SD, in 1962. They settled in Fargo in 1973. She was a member of the F-M Machine Knitters Club and the F-M Quilters? Guild. She was also very active in her church. She is preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother. She is survived by her husband, Duane, Fargo; one sister, Ingrid (Gene) Mellegaard, Parker, SD; four children, Beth (Jason) Larson, Minneapolis, MN, Mike (Michelle) Strang, Moorhead, MN, Kevin (Kimberly) Strang, Longview, WA, and Carrie (Robert) Darrah, Fargo; eight grandchildren, Brooke, Grayce, Matthew, Melanie, Lydia, Brandee, Robert, and Jacob; three half-sisters; and a half-brother. The funeral will be at St. Paul?s Newman Center, Fargo, at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. There will be a Prayer Service in the Boulger Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 Wednesday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the Newman Center. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
