Our beloved Shirley G. Prindiville, entered into rest, on May 19, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital, in Fargo, ND, with her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and siblings at her side. Born on February 5, 1940 in Veblen, SD, Shirley was the first of four children born to Ethel and Tollef Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Lee raised Shirley, her brothers and sister, on their family farm near Rutland, ND, where she also attended school and graduated from Rutland High School in 1958. In 1959, Shirley married her life long sweetheart, John "Pat" Prindiville, also from Rutland, ND. The newlyweds soon began their family which grew to include 6 children. Shirley is survived by her husband, Pat Prindiville, Horace, ND; son, Michael (DaNell) Prindiville, Andover, MN; son, Joel (Lisa) Prindiville, Tea, SD; son, Mark (Darla) Prindiville, Fargo, ND; daughter, Jenifer (Paul) Suarez, Savannah, GA; daughter, Johnell Prindiville, Horace, ND; daughter, Erin Prindiville, Eaton, CO. She lived her life with such ease in her ways and always embraced those who came into her life with a heartfelt hug, a warm smile and good humor. In addition to caring for her children and grandchildren as she did for so many years, she volunteered for the Horace Rescue Squad, was a member of the New Neighbors Homemaker's Club, and designed floral arrangements for Dalbol Flowers and Gifts. She was an active member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church and also enjoyed traveling and spending time at their cabin on Long Lake. All who knew her would tell you that she was the most genuine person one could ever know. Shirley will be deeply missed.
