moorhead mnDad–I love you more than you will ever know–I am so proud of you and the life that you lived. For all the hardships you overcame, you never became bitter or held a grudge. I hope these are qualities I can someday acquire. The stories I have heard about you make me wish I would have known you when you were a young man. You were so greatly loved by all of us, and I know that you are smiling down upon us, and will be waiting for us when we get there. Rest in peace, knowing we will take care of mom and that you were loved by SO many people.

moorhead mnToday we lay to rest a man of great character. A man who’s family and those less fortunate came first. A man who didn’t have much but thought he was the luckiest person on earth to be blessed with such great fortune. A man who loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. May you rest in peace big guy. Thank you for showing me how to be a man’s man…..thank you for all the stories from days gone by…..thanks for being a great man. Rest in Peace Stan.

I always enjoyed Stan’s company. He was a very down-to-earth guy with a very big heart. Little Mallory will miss her grandpa very much. You are blessed to have had such a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
