    Scott, Tina, Brandie and Mandy,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother especially at such a young age. I don’t keep track of much of what happens in Hillsboro except for what the folks tell me. Paul H told me Christmas morning when we were at my brother’s.
    My sincere sympathy. Take care.

She was a very nice woman that I have met and became my grandmother through marring her grandson. The times I have met her, she was so beautiful and acting like she was in her teens again or at least a young adult where she could do anything she wanted to do. She was strong and brave and always cheered up the family when things were down. She was a strong fighter and I will never forget how she never gives up until she knew it was time to give in. She was just a lovely woman and I will never forget her. I have to thank her for accepting me into the family and take me in like if I was her own granddaughter.

colton south dakotaI remember my grandma as a fun loving women and she was always up in the kitchen making stuff for me and the rest of my family, everyone in my family says I look exactly like my grandma and so every time I look in the mirror I think of her and so she will always be in my mind and my heart and even though she’s not physically here she’s always gonna be mentally here.

Steph was a very strong woman. She went through a lot of ups and downs in the eight years she had cancer, and still managed to do alot of the things that she loved to do, and I admire her for that. I always liked that she said what was on her mind, whether you liked it or not. She loved her family very much. Being her son in law, she treated me just like one of her own from the day we met. Steph will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. RIP Steph, we will always love you!

I hate to see her go, but I know she is in a better place without any pain or suffering. We will all miss you grandma, and the memories of what you did in life will never disappear from our minds as you will never disappear from our thoughts.
