Steven Swanson

Steven E. Swanson, age 56, Fargo, ND, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. Steve was born in Fargo, ND on August 24, 1949 to Ernest and Betty (Clemmer) Swanson. Steve graduated from South High School in 1968. He lived and worked in Minneapolis for a number of years before returning to Fargo. He owned and operated Steven E. Cleaning for twenty plus years. Steve met the love of his, Jeanne Kuebler and they married on January 10, 2004. Steve knew the sanctity of human life and shared his devotion with everyone. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; three sons, John (Melissa) Swanson, Eugene, OR, Kent Swanson and Kurt Swanson, both Fargo; two daughters, Alicia Swanson and Lynette Swanson, both Fargo; his father, Ernie Swanson, Fargo; two brothers, Raleigh Swanson and Brad (Kathy) Swanson, both Fargo; two sisters, Benita Albrecht and Jennifer (Tim) Cossette, both West Fargo, ND; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Mary Kay Starry, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren, Christopher, Theresa, Rachel, and his newest grandson, Declan, born January 22, 2006 who Steve waited to see before leaving us. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Swanson, a brother, Joseph, and many aunts and uncles. Visitation: Sunday 5-7 p.m. ?
