Sue Bohnet-Anders, age 66, of Argusville, ND, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at home under the care of her family and guided by Hospice.

Susan Gonser was born on September 4, 1945, in Devils Lake, ND to Kermit and Norma Gonser, where she lived until the age of 10, when the family moved to Fargo, ND. She graduated from Shanley High School in 1963. After high school, she worked for an electric company and the Internal Revenue Service until she married Tom Bohnet on February 6, 1965. They had two daughters, Heather and Tania, and they resided in Fargo. Tom passed away in March of 1990. She met Merle Anders in April of 1992, they married and have been together ever since.

Sue will be remembered for many things, especially her deep faith and love for her family and close friends. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, drives in the country looking for wildlife, cooking and baking for her family, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and Bison football and basketball games. She had a special affection for teddy bears. She will also be fondly remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor.

Sue is survived by her husband, Merle of Argusville, ND; daughters Heather (Lyndon) Worden of West Fargo, ND, and Tania (John) Leevers, of Parker, CO; grandchildren: Candi Worden, Taylor, Kayla, Marin, and Jack Leevers; brothers Storm, Kim, Steve, and Kit Gonser; and sisters Ginger Smerker, Michele Doty, Cheri Auringer, and Lani Bartlett.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband Tom, her parents, and sister Kandi.

Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Chimbote, Father Jack’s Mission; Hospice of the Red River Valley; and Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
