Sylvio E. Trottier, 82, Fargo passed away Saturday, May 8 in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo.

Sylvio was born February 14, 1928 to Eugene and Louiselle (Sauvageau) Trottier in rural Fargo, ND. Sylvio attended St. Benedicts School through the 8th grade before entering the service in 1951. Sylvio served in the Korean War as a cook.

After serving in the army, Sylvio worked for Fargo Glass and paint before retiring  in 1991.

Sylvio married Eleanor Ann (Kallenbach) in Nativity Catholic Church on July 2nd 1982 and made their home in Fargo.

Sylvio loved fishing, hunting, bowling, golf, gardening and horseshoes. He loved to spend time with his family.

Sylvio is survived by his wife of 27 years, Eleanor, Fargo ND; children, Randy Weisser, Fargo, ND, Linda Weisser, Fargo, ND, Richard Weisser, Detroit Lakes, MN, Shelly (David) Sinclair, West Fargo, ND; 5 step-grandchildren, Joshua (Krystle), Jonathan, Sarah, Jacob, Cody; 1 great-grandchild, Alexander; siblings, Roland Trottier, Colorado Springs, CO, Alida (Wallace) Utke, Fargo, ND, Lillian (Roland) Cossette, Fargo, ND, Rose Lohr, West Fargo, ND, and many nieces and nephews.

Sylvio was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 5 brothers
