Tamara Thoreson

Tamara ?Tami? Thoreson Tami passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008 at her home in Fargo at the age of 45. Tami was born on February 18, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Gene and Beverly (Skare) Thoreson. She grew up in this area and moved with her family to California in 1970. She returned to Minneapolis and later moved to Moorhead where she joined the Armed Forces. Tami met Joel Wegenast while in the service and they later married. They made their home in Fargo, ND, Aberdeen, SD and also in Eau Claire, WI. Tami moved to Dilworth, MN and has lived in this area since. She most recently had been employed at Concordia College in Moorhead through the Command Center. Tami is survived by her sons, Brandon Wegenast of Jamestown, ND; Casey Wegenast of Madison, WI; and Garrett Wegenast of Jamestown, ND; and her daughter, Sydney Thoreson of Dilworth, MN; and her grandson, Dawson Wegenast. Also surviving are her father, Gene Thoreson of Cedar, MN; and her mother, Beverly Thoreson of Fargo, ND; her sister, Lisa (Jeff) Miller of Dilworth, MN; and her brother, Lance Thoreson of Fargo, ND; and several dear nieces and nephews. To all those who knew her, she will be greatly missed.
