Thelma Henry

Thelma Henry died on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Bethany Homes, Fargo. Thelma Kathryn Gac was born on April 14, 1918 to John and Barbara (Galas) Gac in Uxbridge, MA. Thelma graduated from Worcestor State Teachers College, MA in 1940 and taught in the Uxbridge Public School system. Thelma married Raymond Henry on August 30, 1947 in Uxbridge. Raymond died in April 2002. Thelma and Raymond made their home on Long Island, NY until 1958 when they moved to Bethesda, MD. Thelma was active in education, including teaching second grade at the Stone Ridge Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. In 1996, Thelma and Raymond moved to Riverview Place in Fargo, ND. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers and sisters. Thelma is survived by her children: Mary (Tom) Brunsdale of Fargo, ND, Dr. Anne (Warren) Stoe of Roseau, MN and Fargo, ND, and Raymond (Marsha) Henry of Monrovia, MD. Thelma is also survived by ten grandchildren: Anne (Eric) Schoonmaker, John (Shaleen) Brunsdale, Katherine Brunsdale; Mary, Carolyn and Aaron Stoe; Stacie, Brian, Amanda and Jay Henry. She is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Friday, November 28 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and also one hour prior to Mass at the church on Saturday. Prayer Service: Friday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Saturday, November 29 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
