Theodore ?Joe” Halm, 86, Fargo, died June 4, 2008, at his home at The Waterford.
He was born in Grand Forks, ND to George and Mary (Schue) Halm. He graduated from
St. James Academy in Grand Forks. He enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and attended Flight
School graduating as a navigator and served in the South Pacific. He married Virginia
Terrian on July 1, 1943. After his discharge from the service they moved to Bismarck-
Mandan area. Joe served as the manager of the Mandan Elks Club for many years. In
2002 they moved to Fargo. Joe was a member of Elks, American Legion, VFW and
Eagles. He enjoyed family, friends, golfing, good food and a good Manhattan.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife and parents. He shall be missed by his son, Barry
(Cleo), Saginaw, MN, his daughter, Judi (Russ) Johnson, Fargo, his grandchildren, Josh
Johnson, Jed Johnson, Tyler Halm, Valerie (Greg) Griffin, Cassie Halm, great-grandchildren, Anaca and Grita Griffin and his sister, Louise Lowe of Minneapolis.
Visitation: Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 4:00 to 5:00PM at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo- and one hour prior to the service in the church on Monday.
Prayer Service: Sunday at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral: Monday, June 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne & Joachim, Fargo.
Interment: Holy Cross South Cemetery, Fargo.
