Theodore Hanson, age 73, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Fargo.
Ted was born on March 10, 1934, at Bryant, SD, the third youngest of eleven children born to Alfred and Thora (Berg) Hanson. The family lived on a farm near Bryant. Ted graduated from high school in Bryant. He served in the 10th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army in the mid 1950’s. Ted and Deanna (Dee) Dennert were married in 1959. He graduated from Northern State Teacher=s College, Aberdeen, SD. He then taught school near Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, SD, from 1961 to 1967. In 1967, he began working for State Farm Insurance, retiring in December 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Dee, two daughters, Kris (Billy) Tully, Rapid City, SD and Deede (Rich) Storbeck, Leesburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Robert (Hannah) and Daniel Tully and Theodore and Carly Storbeck; brother, Wayne (Lorraine), seven sisters, Vida Colvin, , LouAnn Caulfield, Alma (Lee) Ingalls, Alvina Larson, Rose Engen, Helen (Wayne) Matz, Alice (Dan) Jacobson.
Written by Ted with a loving farewell to my wonderful wife, Dee; daughters, Kris and Deede; sons-in-law Billy and Rich; and grandchildren, Rob, Dan, Tedd, and Carly. Also to all other named and unnamed survivors. It has been a fantastic life and I love you all for making it a great trip. Good-bye, Ted.
