Theresa Thorson

Theresa A. Thorson, 74 of Fargo, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. Theresa was born on May 25, 1932 in Wild Rice, ND to Ovila and Lucinda (Sauvageau) Rheault. She attended school at St. Benedict?s in Wild Rice. On September 3, 1951 she married Ronald Thorson at St. Benedict?s Catholic Church in Wild Rice. The couple farmed near Harwood, ND until moving into Fargo in 1954. Theresa worked at Dakota Clinic and MeritCare until retiring in 1997. She was also a foster parent for several years. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed spending time at the lake with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Andrew and Cleo; grandson, Ryan and by her great-grandson, Brock. Theresa is survived by her husband, Ronald of Fargo; children, Nickolas (Susan) of Fargo, Randy (Julie) of Fargo, Yvonne (Joel) Christoferson of Litchville, ND, Mona (Michael) Johnson of Fargo; grandchildren, Lisa Morrison, Shawn Thorson, Lance (Annie) Thorson, Angie Thorson, Jarrett (Amanda) Christoferson, Ian Johnson, Lane Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren, Scotta Leigh, Sydney Ann, Hunter Lee, Kierra Lucille; 5 sisters, Hazel (Ernest) Cossette of West Fargo, Leone (Anthony) Richard of Horace, ND, Ella (Maurice) Richard of West Fargo, Eileen Laney of Fargo, Pam Blotsky of Fargo; 2 brothers, Roger (Angie) Rheault of Fargo and Florent (Irene) Rheault of Scappoose, OR. Visitation: Friday, May 4 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, and one hour prior to Mass in the church. Prayer Service: Friday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross South Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
