Thomas R. Goldberg
Thomas R. Goldberg, 69, of Fargo died unexpectedly on September 4, 2006. Thomas (Tom) resided in Fargo until he attended Judson Preparatory School in Scottsdale, Arizona, but returned to graduate from Fargo Central High School in 1954. He attended the University of Indiana. Subsequently he lived in New York City until he moved back to Fargo in 1996 and lived in Fargo for the remainder of his life.
He is survived by his loving sister, Donna G. Reynolds of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two nephews; and many cousins. His beloved parents, Louis P. and Helen E. Goldberg of Fargo were deceased in 1998.
Tom was an art historian, an artist, an antique collector, and a gourmet cook. He loved animals and was hardly ever without a dog throughout his life. Tom was a man with a generous spirit, and a passion for literature and fine arts. He will be missed dearly by his surviving family and friends.
There will be a burial service for Thomas Goldberg at Beth El Memorial Park at
2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2006. Lay Rabbi Janeen Kobrinsky will preside.
