Tyler James Larson, 36, died after a tragic fall in his home on August 17th, 2021. Tyler was born to Kevin and Cheryl (Lang) Larson in Minot, ND on March 4th, 1985. He lived with his family in Minot, North Dakota, Woodbury, Minnesota, and Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated from Fargo South High School in 2003. He was a member of the Fargo South Bruins Basketball team from 2000 to 2003 and was chosen for the North Dakota Class A All State Basketball Team. Tyler attended college at St. Cloud State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and North Dakota State University. After college he worked in the banking industry for various banking institutions in Fargo, ND. He is currently employed at Wells Fargo Bank in the consumer fraud department. Tyler joined the North Dakota National Guard in 2011. He proudly served his country for the last ten years. Tyler was a member of Living Waters Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota. He enjoyed hunting pheasants in Western North Dakota with his family in Beulah, as well as golfing, bowling, and riding his motorcycle. Tyler is survived by his parents, Kevin and Cheryl Larson, brother Chris Larson, and niece Caylee Larson, and his Grandmother Marie Lang all of Fargo, ND: Aunts and Uncles: Kent and Mary Jo Larson, Beulah, ND, Dan and Linda Lang, Carson City, NV, Malcolm Lang, Casa Grande, AZ, Dallas Lang, Minot, ND, and five cousins: Anne Rosenow, Hazen, ND, Katie Kummer, Bismarck, ND, Hannah McDonald, Dayton, Nevada, Kayla Grissom, Mandan, ND, Dallas Lang Jr., Minot, ND, Gus, his German Shorthaired Pointer and favorite hunting buddy, and the members of the 426 Signal Company Fargo National Guard. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Harold and Mabel Larson and Ardel Lang. Memorials to the donor's choice are preferred. Tyler's Video Tribute can be viewed below:

  4. I am not really sure how to start, or how to put into words how I am feeling. But, what I do KNOW is he was a great person, family. Brother in law to me and Uncle to Caylee. He will deeply and forever be missed. I know he is now flying free and we will be with him again someday.   10. I’m so sorry for the loss. My condolences to Kevin, Cheryl, Chris and the rest of the family. Thinking of Tyler brings a smile to my face, with memories at the lakes, playing basketball and entertaining Tyler’s newest music recommendations. Tyler had a big heart and a big smile & laugh. It feels like yesterday and his memory will live on with me.

  13. I am so sorry for your loss. Tyler was a great person who I very much enjoyed serving with on Covid Duty. He had a smile that could light up a room. Tyler is someone that I could talk to for hours and I could always depend on him. He is already greatly missed. I thank you for recording as I am Texas for military training and was not able to attend. My heart was there with you all. You raised a great man who impacted many lives.
