Obituary

Tyler James Thoemke, age 11, 902 University Drive South, Fargo, ND, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.

Tyler James Thoemke was born November 19, 1991, in Fargo. He was a good student at Clara Barton Elementary School in Fargo. He loved baseball and football, and played Babe Ruth and Park Board Baseball, and was in the F-M Athletic Football Program.

Tyler was a member of Boy Scout Troop #215. He enjoyed Nintendo, hockey, golf, and bike riding with his friends. He loved playing cards with his grandparents, visiting Arizona in the spring, and eating Dip-n-Dots at the F-M RedHawks games and the Red River Zoo. He also enjoyed spending time and money at Driverz and Thunder Road.

He is survived by his parents, Jamie and Sheri (Morris) Thoemke; his sister, Amanda Thoemke, Fargo; grandparents, John and Grace Thoemke, Davenport, ND, and Robert and Carol Morris, Fargo; great grandmother, Jeannette Thoemke, West Fargo, ND; uncles and aunts, Jayson (Carol) Thoemke, Annapolis, MD, John A. (Julie) Thoemke, Clitherall, MN, Jerry (Lorrie) Thoemke, Fargo, Jeff Thoemke, Horace, ND, Susan (Kenneth) Overbo, Harwood, ND, Candice J. (Rick) Thompson, Moorhead, MN, Sandra J. (Jean) Trudel, Bremerton, WA, Kathy J. (Dennis) Schaefer, Kennewick, WA, and Nancy J. Morris (Joe L. Aas), Fargo; and 24 cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, 3636 25th Street South, Fargo. Reverend Chuck Olmstead will officiate the service. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens following lunch at the church.
