  1. Underwood N. Dak.To the Blake family my condolences.
As a young boy I have a lot of memoires of the family when you came to Underwood and When I spent time with the family in Minot.

    Keeping you in our prayers.

  2. Burlingame CAI’m so sorry for the family’s loss & my spirit is with all of you during this time. She was a great mother-in-law. I’ll always remember my late night teatimes with Venus.

  3. GeorgiaJerald, I offer my condolences during this most difficult time. I did not know your wife personally but wanted to acknowledge your pain at this time and leave a comforting thought, Isiah 25:8 “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces”

  4. Fargo North Dakota
My gram just informed me that Venus passed. I’ve know Venus for as long as I can remember. I saw her so much that she eventually became “gramma Venus” and “grampa Jerry” while I was growing up.

I am heartbroken that I cannot attend the services today.

My condolences go to her family and friends and to all who knew her.

    She will be missed deeply.

  5. Minot ND
    Dear Family,
My condolences to all of you at this sad time. I’m Neola Kofoid Garbe. Miss Blake was my principal at Bel Air School for many years and was also a good friend of mine–I still miss her. I’m the lady who visited with family members after the funeral and the one who gave caramels to everyone. 🙂 You will also be receiving caramels. I’ll send them to this address: Jerald Blake
    801 2nd Ave N
    Moorhead, MN
    56560-1971
I remember Miss Blake mentioning Venus over the years. I’m sure she mentioned other relatives, too, but the name, Venus, was intriguing, so I remember hearing it. 🙂 I think one brother/sister-in-law (Donovan? Elaine?) lived in Williston, but I could be wrong about this.
Again, my condolences to ALL of you.
    Neola
