Vieda Hames

Vieda Hames, age 55, Wolverton, MN, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, in her home. Vieda Mae Seward was born to Orrin and Irene (Kimber) Seward on June 17, 1948 in Fergus Falls, MN. She lived with her family in Fargo, ND where she attended school. Later they moved to Pelican Rapids, MN. She married Vernon Hames on January 21, 1966 in Pelican Rapids, MN. They moved to Circle Pines, MN and lived there for 30 years before moving to Wolverton, MN. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; children, Patricia Ann Flink (Dennis), Wolverton, MN, Sherri Lee Burtson (Jerry), Brooklyn Center, MN, Vernon Randall Hames, Jr.(Michelle), Fargo, ND, Brian Odine Hames, Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren; her mother, Irene Seward, Barnesville, MN; one brother, Everett Seward (Winnie), Fargo, ND; and a sister, Luella Lepard, West Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Francis Seward; and two sisters, Laura Solom and Darlene Flink. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Faith Lutheran Church, Wolverton, MN. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Wolverton. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
