Todd and LeAnn, my prayers go out to you and your entire family. My Mom (Doris Toppen) always talked so fondly of Viola…she had a heart of gold, kind and will be missed dearly. May God hold you tight and comfort you all.

  3. Ruth Stegman Halvorson says:

I was sorry to hear of Viola’s passing. My mom was a good friend of Viola’s for many years at Sheyenne Crossings. I got to know her quite well because I spent a lot of time with my mom. Viola was such a treasure to get to know. She was very proud of her family, and spoke about you frequently. My mom passed on 12/31/2020 at the age of 92. You were very lucky to have Viola that much longer. I will miss seeing her when I stop by Sheyenne Crossings. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
