Virginia Halm Fargo, North Dakota Virginia Terrian Halm passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2006 at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo at the age of 83. Virginia Terrian was born on September 14, 1922 at East Grand Forks, MN to Peter and Emma (Leterneau) Terrian. Virginia grew up and graduated from East Grand Forks High School. She began her working career as a switch board operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone. She then worked at Armour and Company in Grand Forks, ND. Virginia married T. J. ?Joe? Halm on July 1, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX. While her husband was in the Navy they lived in numerous locations. After her husband was discharged in 1945 the couple moved to Bismarck, ND. They then moved to Valley City, ND for 1 year and then returned to Mandan, ND in 1947 where they raised her family in Mandan. Virginia worked as a hostess at the Mandan Elk Club from 1960-1980. In 1987 moved to Bismarck and then in October of 2002 moved to Fargo. Virginia enjoyed golfing with Joe, gardening and spending time in the sun. Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Joe, a son Barry (Cleo), Saginaw, MN, and a daughter, Judi (Howard) Johnson, Fargo, ND, and five grandchildren. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister VISITATION: 4:30 until 5:30 PM Sunday at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo ? and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Monday PRAYER SERVICE: 5:30 PM Sunday at Boulger Funeral Home FUNERAL MASS: 10 AM Monday, February 20, 2006 at Sts.
