Obituary

Virginia “Ginger” L. Riepe, 70, Fargo passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014.

Ginger was born May 29, 1944 in Fergus Falls, MN to Earl and Adeline (Rezac) Coyne. She graduated from Dilworth High School in 1962 and went on to attend Dakota Business College where she met her future husband Art. They were married on June 13, 1964 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead. She worked for Otter Tail Power Company in Oakes and Jamestown, ND. After the birth of their son Brad, she devoted her life to being a loving mother. She was especially proud of her four grandchildren and loved spending time with them and cheering them on at their sporting events.

She enjoyed spending summers at West McDonald Lake with all of her family and friends.

She volunteered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church for many years.

Ginger is survived by her husband of 50 years, Art, Fargo; children, Brad (Jaime) Riepe, Moorhead, MN, Kim (Ed) Waggoner, Park Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Jake, Carly, Dylan and Drew; sisters, Ramona (Dennis) Roney, Oakes, ND, Ardith (David) Kienholz, San Jose, CA; brother, Terry Coyne, Hitterdal, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
