Wayne Braunberger, 52, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Wayne was born February 2, 1954 in Fargo to Clarence and LaVonne (Lahren) Braunberger. On April 16, 1971 he married his best friend, Debra Smith. Together they had two sons, Richard and Chad. Wayne and his family owned and operated Clarence?s Louver and Body Shop for several years in Fargo. He also worked for Dakotaland Auto Glass in Fargo. Wayne was a member of NDSRA and FM Walleys. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter, but his greatest joy was his granddaughter, Sadie Rae (Monkey). Wayne is survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years, Deb; sons Richard (Sarah) Denver, CO, and Chad (Sheila), Fargo, ND; and granddaughter, Sadie. He is also survived by his parents Clarence and LaVonne Braunberger, Christine, ND; his sister, Joy Cossette, Fargo, ND; his brothers, Wes (Mary), Fargo, ND and Glenn (Sheri), Christine, ND; his grandmother, Dorothy Lahren, Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews who were very special to him. Wayne touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or American Cancer Society. Please join us for a celebration of Wayne?s life from 5 ? 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2006. There will be a service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at First United Methodist Church, Fargo. ?Fish on, Weiner!?
