Whitney Carlson, 16, Fargo, ND and Sun Prairie, WI, died July 14, 2007.
Whitney was born on August 30, 1990. She loved life and the whole high school experience. She was fun to be around. She was quick to smile or laugh. She loved people, animals (especially horses) and reading. She had a big heart.
She was involved with Key Club and the Prom Committee at Fargo South High School. She was a Hockey Cheerleader her sophomore year. She was active in United Methodist missions and camps during her summers in Wisconsin. She loved babysitting and taught Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead.
Whitney is survived by her mom, Penny (Kevin) Ripplinger, Fargo, and her dad, Scott (Debbie) Carlson, Sun Prairie; sisters, Amanda Carlson, Fargo, Natalie Carlson, Fargo/Sun Prairie, Lindsay Rudkin, Wauwatosa, WI, Amanda Rudkin, Janesville, WI; brother, Isaac Carlson, Sun Prairie/Fargo; grandparents, Dick and Helen Nagel, and Loretta Carlson, Bismarck, ND, and Pete and Jeannie Ripplinger, Jamestown, ND; niece, Brooke Ferris, Fargo; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
Funeral Service is Thursday at 1 p.m. at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo.
