Yvette Richard

Yvette Richard, 78, Fargo, ND, died peacefully at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, Saturday morning, July 2, 2005, surrounded by her loving husband, nine children and family members. Yvette was born to Antoinette and Arthur Duval on October 13, 1926 and raised on the family farm near Horace, ND. She attended St. Joseph?s Academy of St. Benedict?s Church in Wild Rice, North Dakota. On June 21, 1948, Yvette married Nick Richard at St. Benedict?s. They moved to Fargo, where they raised their family. In 1978, they moved to Bemidji, Minnesota and in 1989 back to the Fargo area. Yvette?s strong faith sustained her throughout her life. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and grandchildren. Gardening and making Rosaries for the missions were among her passions. Her sense of humor and kind, gentle nature will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Nick; her children Rosalie (Richard) Elizondo, Elk River, MN; Clarence (Terry) , Minnetonka, MN; Mary (Eric)Tolf, Whitehall, MT; Elaine, Fargo; Janet (Kerry) Jaeger, Grand Forks, ND; Shirley (Craig) Kulla, West Fargo; Charles (Kristen), West Fargo; Arlene (Mark) Wilken, West Fargo; Thomas (Kathleen), Eagan, MN; 23 grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Ernest) Dubord, Fargo and Claudia (Roger) Cossette, West Fargo, and one brother, Raymond Duval, Jamestown, ND. Yvette was preceded in death by her mother and father, her step-father, Arthur Fugere, and granddaughter Kali Jaeger. Visitation: Monday, July 4, at Riverview Place Chapel, Fargo, ND from 6:00 ? 7:00 p.m. and 1 hour before the funeral, July 5. Prayer Service: Monday, July 4, 7:00 p.m., at Riverview Place Chapel, Fargo, ND. Funeral: Tuesday, July 5, at 1:00 p.m., at Riverview Place Chapel, Fargo, ND.
