Jean Gandesbery

Jean Marie Gandesbery, 77, West Fargo, passed away Saturday, September 02, 2006, at ManorCare, Fargo. Jean Marie Grieson was born to William and Bertha (Tingesdahl) Grieson on August 13, 1929 in West Fargo, ND. She grew up and attended school in West Fargo, graduating from West Fargo High School. After high school she started working for the Herbst Department Store as a cashier in the restaurant. She married Gerald Gandesbery on October 26, 1951 in Moorhead, MN. They were divorced in 1960. They moved many places because of his service in the Army. They returned to Fargo and she started work working at the American Linen Company (now called Ameripride) and at the Holiday Inn. She retired at 65. She had been a resident of ManorCare since 2005. She is survived by her Daughter JoAnn (Norman) Hancock, Fargo 4 Grandchildren Juni (Fred) Flood, Fargo; Jayson, Fargo; Mickey, Fargo; Christopher, Fargo. 10 Great Grandchildren Sister Betty Grieson, Moorhead, MN Brother Richard (Ethel) Grieson, Fargo Sister-in-law Inez Grieson, Mesa, AZ She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harvey Grieson. There will be a memorial service Wednesday, 2 p.m. Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation one hour before the service.
