Joan, Cindy, Shawn, and Jay, I’m so sorry to hear that Uncle Mert passed away last night. I remember having a good talk with him when he came to see Dad in the hospital and then again at Grandma’s b-day party last April. Mert and Joan’s house was always one of my favorite places to go when I was little! I’m not sure I’ll make it back for the service but my thoughts will be with all of you.
