Robert Beck

Robert P. Beck Hillsboro, North Dakota Robby passed away on Friday, July 7, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo at the age of 41. Robert P. Beck was born on February 17, 1965, the son of Jerald and Jean (Slingsby) Beck in Moorhead, MN. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1984. Robby began working with his father for Drag-in Towing Services in Fargo, for Del Arneson Inc., and for A.H. Newman. Throughout his career Robby had been involved in the trucking business. The majority of the years he worked for Wallwork Truck Center in Fargo, and was most recently self-employed in the Trucking Industry. Robby was united in marriage to LeAnn Doeden on September 26, 1992. They made their home in Hillsboro. Throughout his life, Robby had a love for racing. He began racing at an early age and Continued through the years with his competitive spirit in motorcycle, snowmobiles, and sprint cars. He loved spending time with his family at the lake. Rob is survived by his wife LeAnn of Hillsboro; and his daughters, Tessa and Tayah, all of Hillsboro. He is also survived by his parents, Jerry and Jean Beck of Fargo; his sisters, Kristin Payne of Fargo; Stacy (Wayne) Haugen of Red Lake Falls, MN; and Amy (Larry) Hartze of Casselton, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
