Judy and Cindy, so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a fine lady and your folks were such good friends with my parents. May she Rest In Peace.
My mother, Ruby and Martha were very good friends and worked together. I will always remember dressing for my wedding at Martha and Adolph’s home across the street from the church in New Rockford. I am sorry I cannot be with you today to celebrate your mother’s life, but my husband is recovering from triple bypass and I need to be with him. My deepest sympathy to you and your families on your loss. A memorial will be given to Immanuel Lutheran in memory of Martha.
Saddened to learn of Martha’s passing. I grew up in New Rockford on a farm and Adolph was our County Agent for Eddy County. They went to our church in New Rockford, Immanuel Lutheran. They helped my mother, Marie Nelson, organize the first 4H club in Sheldon Township, Eddy County. We would see Martha
periodically in Hornbachers grocery store in North Fargo after Adolph died but not for the past few years. She always greeted us with a smile and hearty hello. She was such a friendly person, as was Adolph, to my parents, to my wife and I, and to my siblings.
May she be glorified with Jesus in heaven.
