Anja Kay Gettel

Anja Kay Gettel died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 at 23-months-old. Anja was born April 27, 2018 in Fargo, ND to her parents Adam and Kallyn Gettel, and her big brother James. Anja was an easy baby, happy-go-lucky, and had started to develop a spirited and magnetic personality for a toddler by the time of her passing. Kay Keller, Anja’s maternal grandmother, preceded her in death; She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene Votava. Anja Kay is survived by her mother, Kallyn Elena (Votava) Gettel; brother, James Nicholas Fortman; maternal Grandfather, Ross Keller (Paula Suda), Hillsboro, ND; paternal Grandparents, Don Gettel, Osage, MN, and Shirley Gettel, Callaway, MN; maternal aunts, Andrea Votava, Hillsboro, ND; Dana (Joe) Larkin, Hawley, MN; paternal aunts & uncles: Craig Larson, Fargo, ND; Rhonda Larson, Cedar Park, TX; Scott (Daisy) Gettel, Lake Park, MN; and Mandy (Brent) Thompson, New York Mills, MN; Great Grandma, Ione Smith, Moorhead, MN; and many cousins, family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
