(Krogsgaard) Kaim ’73 died November 17th, 2020, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND, Kathryn “Kathy” was born January 6th, 1947 in Burbank, CA, daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Vosberg) Krogsgaard. She grew up and was educated in Page, graduating from Page High School in 1965. Kathryn married Butch Kaim 7/20/68, in Page, ND, and they raised three daughters. Kathy worked for a time as a ticket agent for Northwest Airlines. Kathy then worked in her parents’ cafe and hotel located in Page, ND for many years. Kathy loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many hours doing her cross-stich and produced many beautiful pieces. She is survived by her three daughters Michele (Terry) Sabby, Osage, MN, Sandra Kaim, Casselton, ND, Melissa (Jered Chavez) Kaim, Lakewood, CO; brothers Mike Krogsgaard, Goodland, KS, Chris (Deb) Krogsgaard, Buffalo Lake, MN, Kevin (Jesse Garcia) Krogsgaard, Palm Springs, CA, and a sister Penny (Steve) Smith, Newberg, OR; grandchildren Michaela, Zachary, Seth, Nathan and Hannah; great grandchildren Michael and Nakoa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch (2002), her father, Harold (1991), her mother, Dorothy (2017), her sisters, Phyllis (1998), Sonja (2018) and Sherryl (2018) and her mother-in-law, Gladys (2009). Family prefers memorials to Buffalo First Responders.

    We hope you can find some joy in all of the memories you have of your mom/grandma. Even though we didn’t know her personally, we’ve heard so many stories in the past few years we knew who she was. She had a sense of humor and loved her family.

  3. So very sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. The Krogsgaard cousins were always special and so much fun to be around. I have many memories of our adventures as we grew up. Hugs to the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. Kathy and I were high school classmates our Jr and Sr years. We then were roommates at Valley City State our first year of college. I have many fond memories of Kathy. My sincere sympathy goes out to her family.

  6. Shelly, Sandy and Missy, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was fun to visit in Buffalo. You could always count on the MN Twins on her TV if you stopped by during the baseball season and same with the Vikings. I will miss you Aunt Kathy, say hi to my mom up in heaven. I’m sure she and the rest of the family that went before you were waiting at the gates for your arrival, especially Uncle Butch. Rest In Peace.
