Emeline May Svoboda

Emeline (Kingsley) Svoboda, 90, passed away on December 11, 2020 at Eventide in Moorhead.
Emeline was born in Money Creek, MN to Orren and Ethel Kingsley on May 28, 1930. She grew up in Cromwell, MN where she attended grade school and high school.
Emeline married Peter Svoboda on July 1, 1950. They spent their working years in Minneapolis. Upon retirement, they built a home on the family farm on Island Lake in Cromwell.
Health issues for Emeline were her reason to move to Fargo to be near her niece, Mary Restad.
Emeline was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Zula, and brother Jackson.
Emeline is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery in Cromwell, MN in the spring.
Many good memories visiting in the cities and at the camper and then the lake home.
I’ll miss you Emeline. Will always remember all the time spent at the lake during my childhood. I’m sure I put on a few pounds eating your baked goods that were in plentiful supply whenever we visited. Wish we could’ve made it up Fargo for one more visit.
