Pornpun "Pam" Chantasi

Pornpun “Pam” Chantasi, wife, mother, and friend, died on Friday, March 26, 2021, while at Sanford’s Hospice House of Fargo, ND. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Chantasi was born Pornpun Vanichjanya to parents Soon-Yook Vanichjanya and Soon-Youk Sataae. She graduated high school in Bangkok, Thailand. She obtained her license in Beauty and Cosmetology while in Bangkok, Thailand. While in Bangkok, she met Nobbadol Chantasi, a young man pursuing his Master’s degree. They married in 1972 in New York City. She worked as a beautician for over 55 years. In her later years she cut back her work hours to spend more time with family. She enjoyed cooking, fashion, and traveling. She was a kind, loving and dedicated woman to her friends and family. She was always willing to go above and beyond for the people she loved. She is survived by her husband, Nob, son, Kenny and grandson. Along with 3 of her siblings that reside in Thailand. Mrs. Chantasi died surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with lung cancer.
