Rosina (Rose) Vetter, 78, passed away June 30, 2021 at Sanford Health Hospital surrounded by family.
Rosina (Rose) (Masseth)Vetter was born on May 15, 1943 in Bismarck, ND to Adam and Philipina (Feist) Masseth.
She grew up on the family farm in Logan County, ND. She married William (Bill) Vetter on July 28, 1962 in Napoleon, ND.
They made their home in Fargo, ND. Rose raised her children and then went to work in the gaming industry. Her favorite things in life were her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and made many friends there. She was an amazing cook and loved baking treats for weeks prior to Christmas. She gave her “goodie plates” as gifts. She liked doing puzzles and coloring in her “coloring books”. She enjoyed life and loved to laugh. She had a strong faith and loved the Lord. She will be forever missed by her family and friends, and is now dancing in heaven.
She leaves behind her 6 children, Paula (Anthony) Hirchert, Michaelene “Mikie” (Linda) Boe, William “Willie” Vetter, Glenn (Mercy) Vetter, Troy (Carrie) Vetter, Paul (Kristine) Vetter; 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister, Gean (Val) Gross; brother and sister- in-laws, Mary Masseth, Jeannie Masseth, Chris Masseth, Betty Masseth, Diane Vetter, Ardis Vetter, Roger Rasmussen, Dan (Vivian) Vetter, Deacon Clarence (Betty) Vetter, Maryann (Cy) Votava; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bill Vetter; parents, Adam and Philipina Masseth; brothers, George Masseth Sr., Sebastin (Maggie) Masseth, Adam (Mary) Masseth, James (Mary) Masseth, Pete Masseth, Joe Masseth; sisters, Julie (Louie) Chmielewski, Mary (John) Kraft, Regina (Jim) Reuer, Elizabeth Masseth; mother and father-in-law, Michael and Mary (Schumacher) Vetter, brothers-in-law, Msgr. Wendelyn Vetter, Mike Vetter, James Vetter; sister-in-law, Loretta Rasmussen; and many nieces and nephews.
Prayers for comfort and healing for this wonderful family during this difficult time. I had the honor of meeting and spending a few hours with sweet Rosie earlier this year. Her children are a tribute to this loving woman and I know she was very proud of them. May God’s grace lift you all up and grant you peace knowing that Rosie is in the presence of our Lord and free from any pain and suffering.

I met Rose when we both worked at Great Clips many years ago. Nice lady. Treasure the memories and the time you had her. Bless her memory and my sympathy to her family.
