June 21, 1971 ~ June 10, 2022
Dustin Bradley Miraldi “Dusty”, 50, of Finley, ND died on June 10, 2022, in Barnes County doing what he loved. Riding motorcycle.
Dustin was born on June 21, 1971, in Elmhurst, Illinois to Dennis E. Miraldi and Linda A. Miraldi (Beck). He was the second of three boys. He grew up in Sunnyland, Illinois and then moved to Valley City during his high school years. He was a proud member of Valley City High School’s band. He graduated from Valley City High School in 1989. After high school, Dustin worked at Phoenix International where he met the love of his life, Lori Stenberg. They got married in 1996 and started their family in Illinois. There, they had two daughters, Brittany Miraldi and Madison Miraldi. They lived in Elgin, Illinois most of their lives together and just recently moved back to North Dakota to be closer to their children.
Dustin worked as a production manager in Elk Grove Village, Illinois at Edlong for 25 years and just recently moved to Finley, ND to work at Fettings Frozen Foods.
Dustin had a lot of hobbies. He loved anything to do with music, motorcycles, sports and his family. He was able to pick up any instrument and play music by ear, and thoroughly enjoyed going to concerts, even if that meant dragging his kids with him. He loved the 1996 and 1997 era Chicago Bulls and had a love for all Chicago sports- besides the White Sox. He always welcomed friends and family with opening arms and was such a loving human being.
Dustin is proceeded in death by a lot of family.
He was survived by his parents Dennis (Elaine) Miraldi of Manteno, Illinois and Linda (Dale) Beck of West Fargo, ND. He was also survived by his brothers Greg (Sarah) Miraldi, of West Fargo, ND and Dwayne (Jimie) Miraldi of West Fargo, ND. He also left behind his loving wife Lori (Stenberg) Miraldi of Finley, ND and his daughters Brittany Miraldi of Wahpeton, ND and Madison Miraldi of West Fargo, ND. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, a grandma, and countless friends.

For those who can’t make it, it will be live streamed on their website and recorded for other viewing. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to his family are appreciated. There wasn’t much traditional about Dusty, nor was he a rule follower. He would absolutely love if everyone wore something Harley Davidson, or anything motorcycle related for that matter instead of a suit or dress.

Lori, Brittany & Madison, I was so sorry to hear of Dustin’s death as he is so much alive to me. What a special person! He gave his all in the 25 years he was at Edlong. I could always count on him and he was a blessing to all of us. He will be missed by all. He wanted so much to get back to North Dakota and I’m glad you were able to go back but I was so sad to see him leave. May God comfort each of you in this huge loss!
May Gods Love embrace you with comfort and peace. You will be missed.
I was in absolute shock and disbelief when I heard you had passed. Couldn’t believe it that day, and still can’t. You definitely had an impact on my life. Thoughts and prayers to the Miraldi family at this time. The world lost a very nice, very good person. Fly high boss!
Dustin you were a great Husband and Father. You made me laugh and smile anytime we were together. Long talks about baseball and MJ will always be my favorite memory. I’ll always love you. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
You will always be in my heart and mind. My heart is completely broken and I miss you so much. I want to hug, hold and touch you. I believe that you felt me hold your hand Monday. I will be talking to you tomorrow afternoon. May god bless and watch over you. May the internal light shine upon you and may you rest in peace. Your loving father.
Kathy & I are so sorry for the loss of Dustin. Working with him (for almost) 25 years and enjoying motorcycling as he did, we talked quite often. Always willing to listen and help if he could, I appreciated every extra effort he made to help out a co-worker and customer. Dustin was one of those truly good people you meet in life and he will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry that we could not be in Fargo with you today during this most unthinkable time of loss. Please know that we were not physically there, but we are sending all of our love. Thank you for making the ceremony viewable on line and allowing us to cry, smile, and laugh with you. Dustin was a wonderful man that was known as Uncle Dusty to Tim, Amanda, Cole , and Aimee; one more name to add to the list.
The ceremony and the music was perfect and so was the song at the end.
As always I am just a phone call away any time of day or night.
I love you,
Shelly Stenberg

This has been heartbreaking. We all were grateful for, and admired Dustin. Dustin explained that it was time to go to ND, and while we missed him so much, it was wonderful to know that your family reunited and were able to really enjoy the wide open space of ND. His gentle smile will always be remembered with love.
