Michael Larry Wild, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2022. Mike was born January 26, 1976. He grew up in Fargo and was raised by his parents Carol and Larry Wild, he was the beloved big brother to Jennifer and Sarah.
During High School Mike earned his Eagle Scout status and athletically competed in Football and Basketball. He enjoyed water skiing, camping, snowmobiling and spending time with his many friends.
After graduating from Fargo South in 1994 Mike attended the University of North Dakota, moved to Colorado to attend university for some time, then transferred home to NDSU where he studied Electrical Engineering. Mike was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed altering, building and creating things. Later in life, he put his beautiful, creative, expressive personality and talent into his art. He successfully pursued his career as an artist and has a mural at Beer & Fish Co. in Fargo.
In 1999 Michael married Kristi Krueger; together they have three children, Aberlee and twins Ana and Ava. His three daughters were his pride and joy and favorite thing about life.
Mike was a charismatic, incredibly intelligent and philosophical person. He had the ability to make friends from all walks of life and knew how it felt to endure life’s toughest battles.
Michael Larry Wild fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept his faith.
Mike is survived by his children; Aberlee (Logan) Wild Macziewski, grandson Wilder, daughters Ana and Ava Wild, sisters Jennifer (Aaron Ferguson) Wild, Sarah (Jonathan) Stout, Nieces and Nephews, Harper, Isla, Owen, Cooper & Harrison, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carol and Larry Wild.
A private “Celebration of Life’ will be hosted by Mike’s daughters. They ask that you celebrate his memory by hugging your loved ones a little tighter and reminding them you care. Find a moment of solitude, pray or simply smile in memory of Michael L Wild.

I remember Mike as being helpful.
With an upbeat attitude, he would help Kristi and I clean a townhouse or work on some other project, like the time he built a fence for me. Mike made work fun.
What I remember most about Mike is that he was so smart and was an excellent conversationalist. We had some great discussions! He wasn’t an “on the surface” kind of guy; Mike could talk about a wide range of topics in depth. In ways he was brilliant. I miss talking with him.
