Andra Kaye Brodersen, 19, passed away on December 26th, 2022 at Sanford Health Fargo.
Andra Brodersen was born on Jan 9th, 2003 in Fargo, ND to Hans Brodersen and Shannon (Overbo) Brodersen.
Andra attended School at DGF. She began working as a server at Mexican Village where she worked with her mother for 2 years. In June of 2022, she joined the staff at the YMCA as a custodial engineer.
Andra was full of life and loved to do so many things. Spending time outside in the summer was a favorite pastime of hers. She enjoyed all the camping trips in the summers with her mom and siblings and got quite skilled at setting up and tearing down the campsite. Andra loved to read and listen to music. She attended her first concert at the age of 8 and would go on to see many more concerts at her young age. Andra enjoyed painting, drawing and had quite an eye for photography. Between donation binning and thrift shopping she could whip together a super cute outfit on a dime. She spent many years dancing in Just for Kix and had the best facial expressions. Her smile always lit up a room. You could often find her baking cookies or cakes for a friend or family member. She enjoyed cooking and joking with her dad and watching scary movies with her mom. Her love for her siblings was immense and her love for her friends was fierce. Gifting was Andra’s love language. She was best known for her giving nature. She was completely selfless when it came to helping her friends. When they needed to talk no matter what she was there to listen. She wanted to help people since she was young whether it was someone on the street or someone she knew. Which is why it shouldn’t have surprised anyone when she decided to be a donor upon her passing. The gift of life is her last but most precious gift of all. That’s just the girl she was.
Andra is Survived by her mother Shannon Brodersen of Horace, ND father and stepmother Hans and Catherine (Boulden) Brodersen of Dilworth, MN, Grandparents Keith and Paulette Overbo of Crosby, ND, John Brodersen of Mandan, ND, Christy Brodersen of Williston, ND, Stepgrandparents Cameron and Karen Boulden of Bismarck, ND, Siblings Hans Brodersen and Mia WIlkie of Horace, ND, Piper and Ian Brodersen of Dilworth, MN and many aunts, uncles, and cousins
Andra is preceded in death by her dear friend Annah Chapman./
