They enjoyed spending many winters in Mesa, AZ, and built a home in Barnesville in 2005. They enjoyed gardening, canning, Garden Club, making lots of lefse and were always entertaining family and friends. She loved cooking and baking. Her grandkids have so many fun memories of time spend with Grandma Milly. She took them to the library, swimming, the park and for many walks in the woods. Thank to Milly for all the great memories we have with you. You will always have a special place in our hearts! As you told us “See you in heaven”.

What a special God-focused lady she was. As my God-mother, she took special concern and care for me, my direction in life and my eternal destination.
I loved her smirk smile, laugh and lefse (along with her giving heart. She picked two great men that complimented her in many ways. Sorry she just fell a a year or two short of a century but her memory will live on as a dear person in my life.

Greetings family and sympathy to all. I met Millie and Cal when I worked at Pelican Rapids and used to go to their DQ for lunch. I was always amazed that they would go around and greet people in their place. Then they moved to Barnesville and I was delighted to see them around town. Millie is probably the sweetest lady I’ve ever known. I look forward to seeing her in heaven, too. Blessings to all of you.
Our sympathy and love to all of you..hugs…. Kevin and Sandy Watterud
She told me the way to remember her name was to use the “silly Millie” She was just a wonderful lady who made the very best lefsa! Truely a gem! Loved having Cal and her in Barnesville.
