Susan L. Jacob was born on January 10, 1950, In Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Norman and Louise Arvesen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She lived in Fergus Falls until 1962, then moved to Battle Lake, Minnesota, and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1968.

Susan and Joe were married on January 22, 1984, in Las Vegas. They resided in Fargo all this time. Sue enjoyed golf, reading, and feeding the ducks and squirrels. She also belonged to the Oriental Band Aids at the El Zagal Shrine. She also worked as a secretary for Fredrickson Orthopedics and for Dr. Kevin Bjorli and Bjorlie Chiropractic.

She is survived by her husband Joe, her stepdaughter Tammie (Greg) Swanson of Fargo, nephew John (Darla) Arvesen of Kansas City, Kansas, Aunts Ginny Fiedler and Beth, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her folks Norman and Louise, and brother Richard Arvesen.

    • Sue I’m so sorry you had to leave but I didn’t like watching you suffer either.
      Joe took so good care of you, we are so proud of him. I’m sure you are at peace now but , that doesn’t mean you won’t be missed. We had a lot of good times together playing cards and going to the
      Eagles. It was an honor to be with you and Joe in Las Vegas on the night of your wedding. I night I will remember forever.
      I’ll miss you my friend.
