Brad was born on October 15, 1965, in Jamestown, ND. His parents were Donald and Evangeline Klose. He grew up in Fargo, ND. Where he attended Fargo South High School and graduated in the class of 1984. Brad enjoyed fishing, hunting, being at the lake, and having bonfires with his family.
