Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jim was a great guy. He was quiet, until getting to know him. He was a great help in the store when you couldn’t find something. His laugh was contagious. When he smiled it went all the way to his eyes.our prayers, hugs & love go out to all of you. 😢

  2. Jim was a great fellow. I have many memories of Jim in high school. He would come over to my house and shoot baskets for hours. Always a quiet and reserved fellow but such a good friend.
It was always a pleasure to talk with him in the store. He will be missed.
My sincere condolences to the family.

  3. My family and I moved next door to his son Ryan in 2019 and I got the pleasure to get to know “Jimbo”. He was always happy and would surprise me with quick witty one liners when I least expected it! We are definitely going to miss him, rest easy Jimbo.

  4. Rick, and Shelly, and families, I am so sorry for this loss. Your brother was so much fun to visit. I got to know him well at the golf course and I looked forward to him coming in the door with Dick. Always a smile, ALWAYS offered to help if needed. He loved his family and recognized the importance of the little things in life. Heaven did gain an angel. Blessings to all of you.

  5. As cousins growing up, we spent a lot of time together.(our Mothers were sisters) and had a lot of laughs and fun. We even trapped gophers together. He had an unforgetable laughter! As we grew older, we drifted apart and didn’t keep in touch. We did wish each other a happy birthday (on Facebook…since our birthdays were only 2days apart). He will be missed by family and friends.

  6. Larry and I have so many memories of Jimmy from when we lived in Ellendale. He was such a funny guy with his giggle and one liners. He was always at the softball parties and there was never a dull moment. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are deeply sorry for your loss! ❤️🙏

  7. I’m so sad that we weren’t able to make it to Jim’s service. I watched it online and was so touched by what friends and family said. Kirk, I know how much your friendship meant to Jim. Ryan, Nick, and Trevor, keep all the memories of your Dad close to your heart. Max, Maggie, and Molly, he loved you so. You kept him young at heart! Rick , Shelly and Bucky, you were always there for your brother and brother in law. I will truly miss my cousin, but I have a lot of wonderful and fun memories together with him. Jimmy, Curt and I are having beer tonight just for you!! Cheers cuz!!❤️❤️❤️

  8. Jim was the funniest guy I was ever around
He had his own unique humor that none could duplicate
He kept a close eye on trouble makers
    I will miss you Jimmy
