  8. Judy, Shawn, Angei, Kristin, Kenny & Dylan,
I can’t begin to express how sad I was to hear about Lyle’s passing. Our family lost a wonderful man who will be missed by so many people.
We’re all so lucky to have had Lyle in our lives & actually, if it weren’t for him, our family may not ever have existed.
He was the leader of our family. Big brother, loving uncle & best grandpa ever. Lyle wasn’t the kind of leader who took control or gave orders. He was the kind of leader who worked along side you until the job was done. He was the leader who helped out even if he wasn’t asked to.
Lyle was at our house the day my Grandpa Mert had a heart attack & it allowed my parents to leave immediately. He took us to McDonalds & bought us a happy meal in a halloween bucket which was a pretty good distraction for kids looking forward to trick or treating. I was, and still am, very thankful he was there that day to watch over us because then I didn’t have to be the babysitter when I was so scared.
I love you guys & will keep you all in my thoughts & prayers ❤️

  10. I am so sorry for your loss. I couldn’t begin to tell you of all the wonderful memories we had over the years! Lyle had such a wonderful sense of humor; we had a longstanding joke over the years about always running into each other where they were selling hot dogs!! Lyle was always willing to help anyone. He was such a good person. My love and prayers are with all of you.

  11. I grew up just a few miles from the Smiths, and visited them numerous times, especially when they had the twins. Later in life we attended school in Buffalo and Lyle was in my sister Naomi’s class. He was always a friendly guy. Good memories. Our sympathy to all his family and friends. Lana Nudell
