Thomas English died on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his home in Fargo, ND.

Thomas Joseph English was born November 4, 1929, in Harvey, ND, to Jim and Madeline English. English joined Hart Motor Express after graduating from Harvey High School in 1948. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and rejoined Hart on his return from service. He was a terminal manager at Grand Forks before coming to Fargo in 1958 as division manager. Tom was a board member of ND Motor Carriers and past president of Fargo and Grand Forks Traffic Clubs. He retired after 30 years with the company.

Tom is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Ormberg) English; 2 daughters, Mary (Allen) Luistro and Margaret English; 4 grandchildren, Kristin Camrud (Conner), Katherine Luistro, Alex Luistro, and Nathaniel Lindblad; 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Anders Camrud. Tom is also survived by his beloved nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Jim; and 3 sisters, Virginia, Geraldine, and Ilene.

Memorials are preferred to Hope Lutheran Church.
