Delores Sanger

Delores Ann Sanger, 86, passed in her home under the care of her family and hospice. Delores was born August 12, 1938, to Nicholas and Barbara (Glatzmeier) Schneider. She graduated high school from West Fargo.

Delores married Kenneth Sanger on June 3, 1954, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. They made their home in Minneapolis, Fargo and finally West Fargo.

She worked as a drycleaner and later in life a seamstress at Richmond Brothers located in West Acres before retiring. She dedicated her time and love to family as shown in her love of hosting family events and get togethers.

She enjoyed spending time with her sister Beverly until her passing in February of 2000. She would travel to Park Rapids, MN often to visit family. She took pride in her appearance. She enjoyed roller-skating at Skateland every Monday evening with her friends, camping, traveling, attending the Steam Threshers reunion in Rollag, MN, and attending events for all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She would often use her sewing skills gifting her handmade heirlooms to her family.

Delores is survived by her children, Nicky Lambert, Fargo, ND, Rena (Keith) Laier, Moorhead, MN, Kathy Martin, Delord, FL, Keith Sanger, New Rockford, ND; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews and many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Kenneth, daughter Karen McDonald, grandson, Branden Sanger, and sister, Beverly Waa.
