Born in:

Resided in:

Charles “Chuck” Berg, 75, of West Fargo, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, surrounded by his family. Chuck was born on March 19, 1950, in Hillsboro, ND to Carl and Lois Berg and he spent his life dedicated to his family, career, and passions.
Chuck began his career at Simonson’s Lumber before joining his father-in-law at Keebler, where he worked for over 35 years in various roles before retiring in 2010. After retirement, Chuck worked part-time at Connect Interiors with his nephew, Jason Berg, for a short time. His hard work and dedication were evident in every role he took on.
Chuck was deeply involved with the Teamsters Union, where he served as a steward and treasurer, advocating for workers’ rights throughout his career. His commitment to service extended to his faith community, where he was a long-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and served on the church board, offering his wisdom and leadership.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time at the lakes. There wasn’t much he wouldn’t try at least once, except for anything involving heights! His love for sports, especially Green Bay Packers football, was well known, and he could always be found talking (or jabbing) about his favorite team, with friends and strangers alike.
Chuck had a warm and infectious personality, and there wasn’t a dog he didn’t love. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, a strong sense of community, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Missy (Jeremy) Skattum; Betty Berg; brothers, Carl (Diann) Berg and Clint (Carmen) Berg; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends; his dog Blaze and his grand-dogs Roxxy and Kloee.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lois Berg; son, Paul Berg; brothers, Curt Berg and Craig Berg; nephew, Jon Berg; and his dog Duke.
