Franklin N. Tweet of Fargo, ND, passed away on March 1, 2026, at Heather’s Hospice House in Fargo, ND. He is survived by his loving companion of over 25 years, Audrey Christianson.

Frank was born February 17, 1933, in Grand Forks, ND. He was raised by his parents Ben and Kate Tweet in Thompson, ND. Frank graduated from Thompson Schools and attended the University of North Dakota. Frank was a proud member of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during his time in the service.

Frank spent much of his life in Los Angeles, CA. He retired as a realtor with the city of Los Angeles. In California he rediscovered his love of the water and all that it offered. Whether it was boating, fishing, or spending time with family and friends, the water brought him much joy and happiness. Frank loved his role as a boy scout leader. He had several Eagle Scouts in his troop and was proud of the young men he mentored. Frank also volunteered with the San Dimas Sheriff’s Department. He often shared stories about his time working with the officers on duty. On any given day you could find Frank mailing a check to the many different charities he supported. He was especially generous to any veteran’s organization. Frank spent his retirement years in Fargo, ND. He and Audrey enjoyed RVing, camping, traveling, visiting casinos, fishing, hunting, gardening and yard work. We will miss his dry sense of humor, his smile, laughter, and his amazing handy-man qualities.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine McAnlis, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Frank is proceeded in death by his son, Mike Tweet, his parents, Ben and Kate Tweet, his siblings, Ben Jr., Douglas, Marvin, Katherine, and Meryl.

Frank’s service will be held at Boulger Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2026. His service will be officiated by Kris Gorden of Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Jude’s Cemetery in Thompson, ND.

The family would like to thank Heather’s Hospice House in Fargo, Roger Maris Cancer Center, Dr. Rozeboom at Sanford, and the neighbors on 43rd Avenue in Fox Run in Fargo, ND. Your support has made all the difference.
