Guestbook

  1. To Clarice’s family,
My Sympathy to your mother’s passing. I’m from Richardton, ND. I’ve known Clarice since 2015. My sister Linda Haag was at Bethany on University at that time until April of 2020. We always had noon lunch on Saturdays when I came to visit my sister at the Century Room. And we always invited your mom. Such a very lovely lady she was. I liked very much to talk with your mom. I called your mom last December 9 and wished her Happy 103rd Birthday. That was the last time I talked with her. If I could have a funeral write-up of your mom I would appreciate that.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Joan, and your family. May God give you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

  4. Clarice was my great aunt on my mother side of the family. She helped to take us care of my grandma Mildred, wile she battled colon cancer. I will be forever grateful for that memory. She was fun to visit as she had a good memory inspire if her age and knew every person’s name who visited her.. She will be missed. Prayers to her family.

  5. What a lovely woman who lived a lovely long life. Pam and I have been friends since Jr. High in Moorhead. I have so many wonderful memories in the tiny house by Concordia. My favorite is our little yellow chicks we bought at Easter which grew up to be big ugly chickens. We were eating chicken dinner when we realized we hadn’t seen our chickens in quite some time….did we…..

  6. Joan and Pam, so sorry for your loss of your mother, I haven’t seen her for years but remember what a lovely lady she was. My mom, Gladys Nelson and I were just talking about her and the Boyer family, as my mom is making a quilt for some of the Boyer family, and they were just to her house. I remember when Joan and her family joined the church in Colfax. I’m sending you prayers and hugs during this difficult time. I lost my husband 16 years ago, and it’s so hard to lose someone so close to you. Prayers to you all.

  7. Clarice was my role model for being a Grandma. Her quiet, gentle spirit was always a joy to experience. What a blessing to have had her for so many years! You will all be in my prayers as you move through grief.

  8. There are too many memories to list although I have started writing a book about my dear Mother CABS…
We spoke on the phone most every day and sometimes more. We prayed, we studied the Bible and we have hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
So if you want to see Nana again, I know where she will be and you can meet her there too. ❤️ 🙏🏼 ❤️
Mom and I would like to send each one of you a twenty seconds hug 🤗 and in her famous words “Bye for now “.
