Resided in: Fargo, North Dakota

Blanche was born September 7, 1931 on her grandparent’s farm near Courtenay, ND to Adolph and Stacey Krubeck. She was raised and schooled at Courtenay and Jamestown schools.

Blanche married Wayne Braasch in Wimbledon, ND where they farmed and owned a milk croute for the Wimbledon creamery. They moved to Fargo in 1951.

Blanche worked at St. Johns Hospital, Dakota hospital labor and delivery retiring from Dakota Clinic in 1989.

I have decided to have no funeral (family only). I will be cremated, and ashes will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens by my husband Wayne.

I’m 94 years old, tired, some health issues, and am ready to start my journey home to be with my parents, sister, two brothers, husband Wayne, and son Darrel.

I will leave my son Steve (Deb); grandchildren James Braasch, Mike (Tina) Braasch, Allison (Shaun) Harrison, Eric (Emily) Braasch; great-grandchildren Connor, Kendall, Mason, and Spencer Braasch; great-great-grandchildren Rhett and Tripp Harrison; nephew James Krubeck; cousin Elaine Lewis, extended family and my special friends Bob and Sylvia Peterson.

God bless my family and friends; I’ve now finished my journey home.

  1. Blanche will forever hold a special place in my heart and I am so thankful to you, her family for sharing her with me. ❤️ May she finally rest in peace and watch over all her loved ones.

  2. My sympathy to the family.
She was very dear to our family.
    😢❤️🙏🏻

  3. Blanche was a KNOWLEDGEABLE, CARING & KIND RN, She also brought Laughter & Sunshine to her patients!! She worked OB @ St. JOHNS HOSPITAL when my son was born! What a BLESSING having her care for the new born babies!! RIP Blanche

  4. We were saddened to learn of Blanches passing. During the 60’s as Darrel and I did our best to give Blanche gray hair, she was my second Mom. Blanche’s and Wayne’s home was always open to me. Their friendly and loving advice and sometimes caution was always taken to heart. She will be remembered and missed.
