Susan Jane (Olafson) Fellbaum truly was surrounded by love when she passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Sue was born on December 8, 1952, in Valley City, ND to Roy and Loretta (Heise) Olafson. She grew up in Fargo, ND with her sisters and best friends, Colleen (Bruce) and Judy (John) Dobbins.
Sue married Daryl Fellbaum and they started a family and soon moved to Rock Springs, WY. Her children, Leanne (Destry) Norman, Barry (Carri) Fellbaum and Troy Fellbaum were always keeping her on her toes.
Sue and Daryl successfully grew several family restaurants and bars together. She began a career with the US Postal Service and committed over 25 years to public service, retiring in 2015.
She was busier in retirement than she was working being the best Grandma ever to Aspen Wilson, Makinzey Fellbaum, Jane Fellbaum and Abby & Piper Norman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour prior.
A service will be held in Rock Springs in the coming weeks.
