With heavy hearts, we share that Mark S. Jackson, beloved son, husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend, passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 51.

To his wife, Missy, he was the man who restored her faith in love. He opened her heart again with his kindness, laughter, unwavering support, and the beautiful life they built together. Through life’s joys and hardships, his love left an immeasurable mark that will be carried forward every day.

To his children, Aidan(Reilly), Sheila, and Gracie, and his stepchildren, Alayna and Weston, Mark was an extraordinary light. He was the kind of father who turned ordinary days into adventures; leading nature hikes, exploring new places, spending time outdoors, and encouraging his children to see the wonder and possibility in the world around them. He had a deep love for nature and animals, and he found joy in the simple beauty of the world around him. He passed that appreciation on to his children, teaching them to slow down, be curious, notice the small things, and embrace life’s experiences with open hearts. Through him, they learned that some of life’s greatest adventures can be found in a trail through the woods, a quiet moment in nature, or the companionship of an animal.

He also leaves behind his former wife, Brenna, who shared with Mark an important chapter of his life and the greatest gift of all, their children. Together, they experienced the joys, challenges, and countless moments that come with raising a family. Although life led them in different directions, the bond created through their children remained. The family is grateful for Brenna’s enduring love and for the strength, compassion, and care she continues to provide their children. She will forever be a meaningful part of Mark’s story and the family he loved so deeply.

To his father, Ned, his mother, Jane, his brothers, Scott(Dana) and Casey(Kate), and his sister, Katie(Caleb), Mark was a beloved son and brother. He loved his family deeply and was always there for them, offering his support, encouragement, humor, and unconditional love. They shared a bond built through a lifetime of memories, laughter, challenges, and celebrations. Mark treasured his family and remained devoted to them throughout his life, standing beside them in the moments that mattered most. In return, they showed him unwavering love and support and remained a constant presence throughout his life. The love they shared was one of the most enduring and meaningful parts of Mark’s life.

Mark was also an entrepreneur at heart. He was a creative and determined person who believed in building something of his own. He embraced challenges, pursued new ideas, and was never afraid to take a chance on a new adventure. His entrepreneurial spirit reflected the same curiosity and courage he brought to every part of his life: a willingness to imagine what could be and then work to make it possible.
