Grace Hart

Grace died at home in Fargo, ND, October 1, 2026. She was born December, 20, 1928, to Emma and Edwin Wichmann at Maple River, ND.

She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1947, and continued her education at North Dakota Agriculture College (NDSU). She married Donald W. Hart in 1950. They lived in Fargo and raised their children: daughters Sharon Johnson of Denver, CO and Terrie (Brian) Dahl of Fargo, ND, and son Bruce (Stacie) Hart of Seattle, WA; and is also survived by her grandchildren Tyler (Wendi) Johnson, Hartly Dahl, Elliot Hart, Hazel Hart; and great-grandchildren Oliver Johnson and Eleanor Johnson.

Grace loved children and volunteered at Nokomis Day Care and Shepherd of the Prairie Preschool, also serving on their boards. She participated in Church Women United of Fargo-Moorhead for 10 years.

Grace and Don owned The Western Shop, where she did tailoring and alterations.

Grace died with anticipation of God’s promise of eternal life.
