Late Abraham was born in the year 1959 to Mahmoud Okun Abuya (from Acholi clan, Agoro Bura Mikito Sub clan) and Bianca Akello Ocheng (from Acholi clan, Pajok Patanga Sub clan)
He was the tenth (10) child among twelve (12) siblings. Seven (7) were male and five (5) female. Only two (2) female r still alive.
He attended Malakia Primary School in Juba South Sudan.
He worked as a driver with Department of Veterinary Services in Kapoeta South Sudan in 1976 to 1977.
In 1978 he moved to Khartoum, Sudan and joined the military and was one of the personnel that were sent to Iraq during President Jaafar Mohamed Nimery Regime.
In 1983 he want to Iraq from Khartoum
In 1984 he returned from Iraq to Khartoum and quit the military. He went back to Iraq same year and proceeded to Syria and from Syria to Lebanon and from Lebanon to USA and settled in Orlando, Florida. He moved from Orlando, Florida to Fargo, North Dakota where he lived till his death.
Late Abdullatif married but they were not able to live together and separated.
He was diagnosed with bone cancer and was under treatment.
It was nice to know you Abraham. I’m glad you and my Dad, were friends. You were like brothers. I think you really helped him, in a sense of having a someone to call and talk to.Thank you for your gift of friendship. I wish your time on earth, wasn’t full of pain and suffering. I wish things were different for you. Now the suffering is over and I’m happy you’re with our Father in in heaven and your pain is no more. Rest in peace. We’ll see you in the future.
Ladit, you were a great man. May the merciful God rest your soul in peace and give solace to your family left behind.
